Steven Inouye

Steven Inouye has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Steven started their career at Compass.co in 2014, where they worked as a Software Engineer, focusing on understanding, creating, and maintaining a variety of websites. Steven then joined Butter Home Services in 2016 as a Software Engineer, where they excelled in small team environments and agile business practices. In the same year, they also briefly worked at Vinosmith as a Software Engineer. In 2016, they joined Amazon as a Business Intelligence Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Software Engineer II. At Amazon, they developed the full-stack web application "TopOff" and collaborated with a team of 30+ to build TopOff 2.0. Steven strategically worked on improving the application's functionality and performance. In 2021, they joined Interview Kickstart as a Frontend Teacher and Interview Coach, where they updated the curriculum to industry standards and conducted lectures for over 30 students. Currently, they work at Right Pedal LendOS as a Senior Software Engineer, where they utilize their expertise in software development.

Steven Inouye has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, which they obtained between 2009 and 2013. In 2014, they attended Dev Bootcamp for a course in Computer Science, although they did not receive a degree. In 2023, they completed a program in ReactJS at the Zero To Mastery Academy, again without obtaining a degree.
