Marie-Chantal Umuhoza, MPH has a diverse work experience in the field of strategic information, monitoring and evaluation, and data management in the public health sector. Marie-Chantal is currently serving as the Strategic Information Director at Right to Care since July 2022. Previously, they worked at Catholic Relief Services from September 2017 to June 2022, holding positions such as Deputy Director and Senior Advisor in Strategic Information and Monitoring and Evaluation. In these roles, they played a crucial role in ensuring the functionality of strategic information systems, providing feedback on outcome indicators, promoting data demand and use, and providing technical assistance for monitoring and evaluation strategies.

Prior to their tenure at Catholic Relief Services, Marie-Chantal worked at Palladium: Make It Possible, where they served as the Country Representative for Zambia and Strategic Information Advisor. Marie-Chantal was responsible for supporting all strategic information, monitoring, and evaluation activities in the country, as well as using information for strategic planning and decision-making.

Marie-Chantal also has experience with ICAP Columbia and Kicukiro Health Center, where they served as a data manager, nurse counselor, and data manager in a PMTCT service.

From 1997 to 2000, Marie-Chantal attended Lycee de Kicukiro APADE, where they obtained a Secondary Certificate in Nursing Science, specializing in A2.

In 2004, Marie-Chantal enrolled at Kigali Independent University and completed their Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences in 2009.

Later on, they pursued further education, earning a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Roehampton between 2015 and 2017.
