Mzihrm Nakambo Chirwa Ba

Nakambo Chirwa has a diverse work experience spanning over 10 years. Nakambo Chirwa started their career at Mossy Hardware Distributors as a sales assistant in 2008, where they worked until 2012. Nakambo Chirwa then joined the Zambia Federation of Employers and served as a management trainee for two months in 2014. Following that, Nakambo worked at the Ministry of Labour and Social Security as a management trainee for three months in 2014.

In 2013, Nakambo joined First Quantum Minerals as a Human Resource Generalist as part of their Management Development Program. Nakambo Chirwa worked at various locations including Kansanshi, Kalumbila, and FQMO until October 2015. From November 2015 to December 2016, they worked as a Human Resource Business Partner at Kalumbila Minerals Limited, where they were responsible for various HR functions such as staff welfare, payroll, employment law interpretation, recruitment, and training.

In 2017, Nakambo joined Kansanshi Mining Plc, which is part of the FQML Group, as a Human Resource Specialist/Officer. Nakambo Chirwa'srole involved handling and managing staff welfare, advising on pay and remuneration, salary reviews, negotiating with staff, administering payroll, interpreting employment law, dealing with grievances, and implementing disciplinary procedures. Nakambo Chirwa worked in this role until April 2018.

Currently, Nakambo Chirwa is working at Right to Care as the Head of Human Resources, a position they have held since May 2018.

Nakambo Chirwa completed an honors bachelor's degree in business administration at the University of Namibia from 2009 to 2012. The field of study was Business Administration and Management, General. In 2012, Nakambo Chirwa became a full member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management.

Recently, Nakambo Chirwa pursued further education and is currently enrolled in a master's degree program at the University of Zambia. The degree program, titled "Masters," focuses on Management Strategy.

In terms of additional certifications, Nakambo Chirwa obtained two certifications related to financial management and compliance for USAID and CDC partnerships in September 2019. These certifications were earned from SustainAbility Solutions.
