Sharlene Govender is an experienced clinician with a robust background in public health, specializing in HIV and TB program management. Currently serving as the Strategic Information & Monitoring & Evaluation Lead at Right to Care since June 2015, Sharlene has demonstrated expertise in program management, technical assistance, stakeholder engagement, financial management, research, and training development. Previous roles include Strategic Information Director at ADAPT Global Health Security and Deputy Chief Of Party, along with project management for Electronic Medical Records at Palladium and the National Department of Health. Sharlene also has experience as a Program Manager at I-TECHSA and Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist at ICAP, focusing on M&E tool development and capacity building. Additionally, Sharlene held a Quality Assurance Quality Control Specialist role at the Medical Research Council. Sharlene holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
