M&e Manager - Health Information Systems at RIGHT TO CARE

Sindisa Gede has several years of experience in the field of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and Health Information Systems. They started their career in 2005 with ICAP at Columbia University, where they held roles as a Data Manager and later as a Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator. They then moved on to work at the Institute for Health Programs and Systems as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, before joining the International Training & Education Center for Health (I-TECH) as an M&E Assistant. Sindisa also worked as the Founder & Managing Director of Axis IT Solutions (PTY) LTD, where they were responsible for coordinating business activities and providing strategic guidance to employees. Currently, Sindisa works at Right to Care as an M&E Manager - Health Information Systems, where they support project development and implementation, enhance project goals and outputs, and maintain project information systems. They also previously held the role of Data Quality Mentor at Right to Care. Overall, Sindisa has extensive experience in M&E, data management, and providing technical assistance in the healthcare sector.

Sindisa Gede attended Siyazama Senior High School from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a general education without a specific degree or field of study. In terms of additional certifications, Sindisa obtained the ICDL certification from ICDL Africa in January 2005. In April 2014, they completed the Leadership and Management in Health program at the University of Washington. They also obtained the CITI - Research Ethics certification from the University of Washington in November 2012. Furthermore, Sindisa completed various courses on Udemy, including Complete Python Programming in September 2022, Complete Microsoft Power BI Bootcamp in August 2022, Python for Beginners in August 2022, The SQL Programming Essentials 2023 Immersive Training in June 2023, and Mobile Development Architecture in June 2023. Additionally, Sindisa completed the Advanced Monitoring & Evaluation course at Imsimbi Training in July 2022 and the Interpersonal Skills course at the Health Sciences Academy in July 2020.
