William Vallance

William Vallance has a long history of working in the IT field. William began their career in 2001 as a Computer Technician for EPITEC, INC., where they worked with the State of Michigan to upgrade 1500+ computers from Windows 95 to Windows 2000. In 2004, they joined TEKsystems as a Help Desk Technician, where they worked with the State of Michigan to handle calls from different departments and repair software. In 2010, they became a Systems/Network Administrator for J&K Steamboat, managing a multi-location network with Linux servers and clients, Windows computers, security cameras, and SIP phones. In 2013, they joined Liquid Web as a Network Operations Administrator, where they maintained and upheld the integrity of internal and customer network infrastructures and managed, expanded, and updated network equipment as needed. William also served as a Linux Support Supervisor and Linux Support Administrator, helping other Linux Administrators on their team to grow their skill level and providing customers with over the phone, email, or live chat support. Currently, William is a Cloud Solutions Engineer for RightBrain Networks.

William Vallance's education history includes an Associate's degree in Computer Applications from the American Public University System, which they obtained between 2011 and 2012. William also attended Charlotte High School from 1995 to 1999. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including CNA 4.x from Novell in May 1999, Red Hat Certified System Administrator from Red Hat in February 2014, A+ from CompTIA in February 2013, and Network+ from CompTIA in February 2013.
