Wouter Dhondt

Wouter Dhondt has a diverse work experience in the field of firmware and software engineering. Wouter started their career in 1999 as a Software Engineer at dZine and worked there until 2004. In 2004, they joined Xtralis as a Lead Developer, where they worked on the FastTrace 2, a Debian Linux based video and audio transmitter/recorder/analyzer. Afterward, they joined Gatewing in 2012, initially as a Lead Software Engineer and later as a Senior Software Engineer. At Gatewing, they worked on the development of the Aerial Imaging application that controls unmanned aerial vehicles. In 2016, they moved to Ticto as a Firmware Engineer, working on visual security wearables. These wearables allow users to determine if people are authorized to be in certain areas. Currently, since 2019, Wouter works as a Firmware Engineer at RightCrowd Software. Here, they have been involved in the development of visual security wearables that enable social distancing monitoring and rapid contact tracing, as well as instant authorization verification.

Wouter Dhondt attended the Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven', Gent from an unknown start date until 1999. Wouter also attended VHTI, but the start and end dates are unknown. No degree or field of study information is provided for either institution.
