Kevin Smith

Kevin Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President Marketing at RightData, where they lead the marketing efforts and oversees the development of their data products. Before joining RightData, Kevin served as the Vice President, Head of Global Product Marketing at Sigma Computing. Prior to that, they held the same role at Toucan Toco - Guided Analytics, where they drove the development and implementation of new messaging and campaign plans. Additionally, Kevin was the CMO and Co-Founder of Gaia Inc. - Autonomous Data Agent, where they played an instrumental role in creating the category and messaging for their "data agent" concept. In 2016, Kevin founded and served as the Principal Consultant at Big Message Foundry, a product marketing consultancy. Kevin has also held various leadership positions in renowned companies such as GoodData, Birst, ServiceSource, NextWave Performance, and Qwest Communications, where they contributed to the development and implementation of marketing strategies, product marketing efforts, and performance management methodologies.

Kevin Smith has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business. Kevin also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance from the University of Maryland. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a Six Sigma Blackbelt certification from Qwest/BMG in 2002.
