Brad Eastman

Brad Eastman is the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at RigNet. Brad has held this position since October 2017. Prior to that, they served as the company's Senior Vice President and General Counsel from July 2021 to October 2017.

Eastman is responsible for all legal, compliance and regulatory affairs for RigNet, a publicly traded remote communications provider with offices in 18 countries and customers in approximately 50 countries. Brad negotiated and executed the sale of the company to another publicly traded company, including advising the board of directors, negotiating the stock purchase agreement, investment banking and other advisory engagement letters, preparing antitrust approvals, SEC filings and shareholder approval materials.

In addition to their work with RigNet, Eastman also manages the company's global real estate portfolio, including lease renegotiations, office construction and facilities services agreements and the company's internal audit function. Brad also serves on the Executive Leadership Team responsible for development and execution of company strategy. Brad's responsibilities include all corporate governance matters including board of directors and stock exchange matters; negotiation and due diligence on acquisitions in the United States and foreign jurisdictions; negotiation of offshore infrastructure partnership with major telecommunications network; negotiation of financing transactions and intellectual property licensing agreements; management of an active litigation docket; implementation of the company’s first contract management system to automate workflows and serve as a centralized, searchable depository for contracts; management of an international compliance program, including complicated telecom regulatory licensing issues in multiple jurisdictions; implementation of an automated third

Brad Eastman received their Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin in Plan II and their JD from Harvard Law School.

They are on a team with Errol Olivier - Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Keith Frederick - Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and Egbert Clarke - Senior Vice President, Global Operations. Their manager is Steven E. Pickett, President & CEO.
