Atul Anand

Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Rigshospitalet

Atul Anand is a highly experienced researcher in the field of cancer biology, currently serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Rigshospitalet since April 2022, focusing on the roles of macrophages and microglia in the glioblastoma microenvironment, along with multi-omic and sc-seq analyses of glioblastoma-associated immune cells. Prior to this, Atul worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Odense University Hospital and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Kræftens Bekæmpelse (Danish Cancer Society) from June 2014 to March 2019, alongside earlier roles as a Senior Research Associate at Bristol Myers Squibb-Biocon Research Center and a Senior Research Fellow at Tata Memorial Centre. Atul holds a PhD in Cancer Biology from the University of Copenhagen and possesses a strong educational background with multiple advanced degrees in Biotechnology and Immunology from respected institutions.
