Carina Høgsted

Carina Huerta is currently serving as an Associate Quality Engineer at Medline Industries, LP, since August 2024. Prior experience includes a role as a Quality Engineering Intern at Medline Industries, where contributions included the development of a master part guide for wheelchairs and testing of accessories. Carina also held positions as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Engineering, guiding students in BioInstrumentation Labs and managing 3D printers for engineering design projects. Additionally, experiences include work as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Illinois Chicago Rehabilitation Robotics Lab, a retail cashier at Delaware North, and participation in a sprint internship at Kavi Global, focusing on machine failure prediction. Carina holds a degree from the University of Illinois Chicago, along with an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Trinity High School.
