Alberto Domingo Marin

Alberto Domingo Marin has extensive experience in agricultural specialization, particularly in crop management and product direction. Currently retired since December 2021, Alberto has held significant roles at Rijk Zwaan from June 1998, serving as the Eggplant Crop Specialist and Melon Crop Specialist across Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. Responsibilities included product direction, coordination of international demonstrations, and promotion of melon varieties. Prior to that, Alberto worked at Rijk Zwaan Iberica S.A. as an Account Manager, focusing on commercial tasks and product promotion in the Almería area, and developed commercial activities in Nijar for a decade. Earlier experience includes a role as a Commercial Delegate at Explosivos Rio Tinto, where responsibilities revolved around the commercial development of agrochemical products, and technical advisory for low-volume phytosanitary solutions at Esvisa. Alberto holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from Politecnica Barcelona (1977-1980).
