David Herzog

David Herzog has extensive experience in crop management and project coordination, currently serving as the Crop Coordinator for Rootstocks and Watermelon at Rijk Zwaan since January 2007, where responsibilities include managing variety assortments, sales forecasts, and seed production while developing new markets and providing technical advice. Previously, as a Project Manager at CIRAD from February 2004 to December 2005, David focused on the development of the Mango crop through integrated pest management, managing projects related to organic mango trials and pesticide treatment. David's early career includes a master trainee position at Phytex, concentrating on hydroponic culture effluents management. David holds a degree in Horticulture Engineering from Agrocampus Ouest, with further business education from San Telmo Business School.
