Andrea Elera Coello

Andrea Elera Coello is a seasoned professional in the visual arts, currently serving as the Public Programme Coordinator at Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten since September 2023. With extensive experience as an artist educator and independent curator since 2008, Andrea has independently organized and curated numerous visual arts and education projects. Previous roles include Research Assistant at the University of Amsterdam, External Advisor for the Painting committee at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, and various positions at Rijksakademie and Framer Framed, emphasizing community engagement and collaboration in the arts. Andrea co-founded Casa Pausa in Lima, and held leadership positions in visual arts management, including Head of Visual Arts at the Municipality of Miraflores and Exhibitions Coordinator at Sala Luis Miró Quesada Garland. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts from the University of Amsterdam and a Master of Education from ArtEZ University of the Arts.
