Irma de Vries

Irma de Vries is a seasoned professional in art education and communication, currently serving as a Senior medewerker Educatie Families en Kinderen and Museumdocent/rondleider at the Rijksmuseum since January 2016. Irma has also contributed to the Van Gogh Museum and Stedelijk Museum as a museum educator, and has experience in educational material development with Educatieve Uitgeverij Staal & Roeland. Prior to these roles, Irma worked in various educational and communication capacities, including as a trainer and assistant researcher at the University of Amsterdam. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in teaching Art History from the University of Amsterdam and two additional Master's degrees in Comparative Arts and Media Studies and Kunstgeschiedenis from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
