Marije Plaum

Marije Plaum currently holds the position of Hoofd Partnerships at Rijksmuseum since May 2021, following a role as Partnership Manager and New Business Development Consultant at Cinekid. Prior to that, Marije served as Secretaris Commissie Film&Media en Letteren&Debat at the Amsterdamse Kunstraad and contributed to content and talent acquisition at RTL. Marije's extensive experience includes a significant tenure at The Walt Disney Company as Sales Manager for Program Distribution in the Benelux, and leadership roles at Off the Fence as Head of Distribution. Earlier positions encompass assistant producer roles at both the Grachtenfestival and the Wereld Muziek Theater Festival, an administrator role at Eurimages, and a programme researcher role at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam. Marije attained a degree in American Studies from the University of Groningen and holds an MBA in European Audiovisual Management, along with an MA in Political Science from the College of Charleston.
