Raymond de Jong

Raymond de Jong has a diverse work experience in various roles related to management and security. Raymond started their career in 2001 with the Regiopolitie Amsterdam-Amstelland, where they worked in different positions and ranks, including as a manager at the 112 emergency dispatch center and as a facility manager. Raymond then joined PP10 10 B.V., a private security company, where they served as a manager for two years. In 2011, Raymond worked as an intern at Twynstra Gudde, focusing on organizational development and change management. Raymond also worked for the Nationale Politie / Eenheid Amsterdam as the Deputy Head of the Project Bureau. Raymond joined the Rijksmuseum in 2015 and held various roles, including Director of HR and Head of Security Affairs. Additionally, they served as the Secretary of the International Committee of Museum Security for the ICOM from 2019 to 2022.

Raymond de Jong holds a Master's degree in Arbeids- en organisatiepsychologie, which they obtained from the Open Universiteit from 2009 to 2011. Prior to this, they completed a Bsc degree in the same field at the Open Universiteit from 2006 to 2009. Prior to their university education, they attended the Nederlandse Politie Academie from 1997 to 2001, where they pursued a Leergang Tactisch Management.
