Brendan Colloran has worked in various roles in the tech industry since 2011. Brendan began their career as an Associate Scientist at Archimedes in 2011. In 2012, they joined Mozilla as a Data Science Tooling Lead for the Iodide Project, where they conceived, built, and delivered Iodide, an experimental tool designed to improve data science communication and make the power of the web platform more accessible to data scientists. Brendan also led and expanded the Iodide team from 2 to 6 engineers. In 2021, they became the Director of Data Science at STOIC. Currently, they are a Product Engineer at Rill Data.
Brendan Colloran has obtained a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Economics from the University of Cambridge in 2010, a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Mathematics from San Francisco State University in 2009, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy from Hampshire College in 2003. Brendan also holds a certification in Bayesian Statistics from Coursera, which they obtained in February 2018.
