Flaminia C.

Flaminia C. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2004, they volunteered as a Young Offender Jail Assistant, gaining valuable experience in organizing rehabilitation and social events for young offenders. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as a Teaching Support Provider at the University of Edinburgh, honing their communication and teaching skills. In 2009, they interned as an Information & Decision Solution Intern at Procter & Gamble, developing problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

In 2010, Flaminia founded and managed TheoryMine Limited, a web-based company stemming from their university project. During their time there until 2019, they learned how to efficiently manage time, lead a team, and operate in a business environment. Simultaneously, from 2010 to 2019, they also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Edinburgh, focusing on a research project in Theorem Proving.

Flaminia joined Essence in 2013 as an Insights and Analytics Analyst and later transitioned to become a Software Engineer. In 2015, they became the Senior Software Engineer/Technical Team Lead, responsible for managing a team of six software engineers and writing technical specifications. Flaminia utilized various programming languages and technologies, such as Python, RabbitMQ, OracleSQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite3, Hive, Hadoop, SQL Server, MySQL, and Bash.

Flaminia then joined ThoughtWorks in 2016 as a Senior Software Engineer and was later promoted to the role of Lead Software Development Consultant. Flaminia contributed in software development projects and offered consultation services. Their time at ThoughtWorks allowed their to further develop their technical skills and gain experience in planning and management.

Most recently, Flaminia joined Rillet in 2023 as a Software Engineer.
