Suman Karki

Suman Karki currently serves as the Head of Power Systems and Global Sector Leader for Power Systems at RINA since April 2022. Prior to this role, Suman held the position of Associate Director at AECOM from September 2021 to April 2022 and was a Senior Principal Engineer in Power Systems at WSP in the UK from June 2018 to September 2021. Previous experience includes being a Senior Power Systems Consultant at TNEI Services Ltd/Petrofac (October 2013 - June 2018), a Power Systems Consultant at Siemens (December 2009 - October 2013), and a Technical Manager at Community Windpower Limited (September 2008 - November 2009) and the Renewable Energy Project (REP) in Nepal (April 2005 - August 2007). Suman’s career began as an Energy Officer at the Alternative Energy Promotion Centre under the Ministry of Environment, Science, and Technology in Nepal (September 2004 - April 2005). Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Renewable Energy Engineering from Durham University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Engineering from Shivaji University.
