Chip Handley has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Chip started their career with the US Army as a Captain from August 1980 to August 1985. Chip then joined The Carlton Company, where they served as a Management Trainee from July 1985 to May 1986 and later as a Product Support Sales Manager from June 1986 to July 1989.
In August 1989, Chip joined Ring Power Corporation as an Assistant Vice President (AVP), serving as the Product Support Sales Manager until May 2004. Chip then held multiple roles within the company, including 6 Sigma Black Belt from June 2004 to March 2005, 6 Sigma Master Black Belt from March 2005 to September 2005, and Vice President (VP) and Lean 6 Sigma Deployment Champion from September 2005 to March 2009.
From April 2009 to September 2020, Chip held the position of VP of Training at Ring Power Corporation. Chip currently holds the position of VP, Customer Experience Manager at the company, starting from September 2020.
Chip Handley received their BA in Economics from William & Mary from 1977 to 1980. Chip also attended Kecoughtan HS, however, the specific years of attendance and any degrees earned are unknown. Chip Handley obtained the PHR certification from SHRM in 2012.
