Alexis Okuwa

Alexis Okuwa is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and operations across multiple high-profile companies. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Engineer at Amazon since April 2018 and as Sr. Director of System Operations at Ring since May 2016, Okuwa has successfully built core infrastructure teams, implemented a real-time video streaming application, and established a 24/7 SRE team. Previous roles include DevOps Manager at Grindr, where a 24/7 NOC was developed, and Senior DevOps Engineer positions at Mozart, Chartboost, and Cie Games, focusing on high performance infrastructure and security enhancements. Okuwa also held positions as Lead System Admin and Lead Backend Developer at Winnol and eGood. Education was completed at Glendale Community College from 2010 to 2011.
