Katarzyna Gaweł

Katarzyna Gaweł has extensive work experience in various roles related to communications and management. Currently, they are the Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) at Ringier Axel Springer Polska, a position they have held since September 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Internal Communications and Engagement at the same company from July 2021 to September 2023.

Before joining Ringier Axel Springer Polska, Katarzyna worked as the Group Communications Manager (CEE) at the media and tech company, responsible for corporate and product communication in multiple countries. Katarzyna held this role from October 2016 to July 2021.

Prior to their role at Ringier Axel Springer Polska, Katarzyna worked as an Internal Communication Expert at PKP Group - Polskie Koleje Państwowe S.A. from November 2012 to December 2015. Katarzyna was responsible for creating and implementing the internal communication strategy.

Earlier in their career, Katarzyna held the position of Managing Director at SENSE consulting sp. z o.o., where they were responsible for strategy creation, acquiring EU grants, sales management, and grants implementation.

Katarzyna also worked as the Communication and Promotion Manager at Nickel Group - Nickel Technology Park Poznan (NTPP) from September 2008 to January 2011. In this role, they provided commercialization support, created and promoted the NTPP brand, and acquired EU grants for development and promotion.

Katarzyna's work experience also includes a role as the European Projects Manager at Poznan Science and Technology Park (PPNT) - Adam Mickiewicz University Foundation from September 2004 to August 2008. Katarzyna managed a programme contracted by the Marshal's Office of Greater Poland Voivodship, provided training on EU grants and innovation programs, and conducted business plans and feasibility studies.

Additionally, they worked as a Phd student at the University of Economics Poznan, Finance and Accountancy from September 2004 to August 2008.

Katarzyna Gaweł obtained a Magister (Mgr) degree in Management and Marketing, Finance and Accountancy from Poznan University of Economics and Business from 1999 to 2004. Katarzyna pursued doctorate studies in the same fields at the same institution from 2004 to 2008. In 2011 to 2012, they attended MBA studies in Human Resources Management at Uniwersytet WSB Merito Poznań. Additionally, in 2016, they obtained certification as a Certified Sales Trainer from Akademia Trenerów Sprzedaży.
