Ed Cheetham

Ed Cheetham is an experienced professional in the field of motion design and animation. Currently serving as the Department Head for the Department of Motion Design at Ringling College of Art and Design since August 2009, Ed has also owned Digital Artistry since August 2002. Previous roles include serving as the Director of Animation/Graphics at CMT - Country Music Television from August 1998 to April 2002 and working as a Computer Animation Faculty member at Ringling College of Art and Design from July 1991 to May 1998. Earlier in the career, Ed was the Design Director at Century III at Universal Studios Florida from June 1989 to June 1991. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Animation from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Drake University.
