Kurt Karussi

Kurt Karussi is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in various roles spanning multiple industries. Currently serving as a Professor at Ringling College of Art and Design since August 2012, Kurt teaches Design, Illustration, Toy Design, Character Development, and Rapid Visualization, focusing on design fundamentals and methodologies. Previous positions include Creative Design Lead at PGT Innovations, where Kurt spearheaded innovation initiatives, and Head of Industrial Design at Tervis, overseeing new product development and packaging. Kurt's experience also includes significant roles at Procter & Gamble, Mattel, and Hasbro, where Kurt managed global design strategies and led product development for established brands. Holding a BFA in Industrial Design from the Cleveland Institute of Art and a BS in Mechanical Engineering/Design from The Ohio State University, Kurt combines a strong academic background with a rich professional portfolio.
