Luke O'Brien is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability and commercial advisory roles. Currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer at Rio since March 2024, and as a Director at L.OB LTD since August 2023, Luke focuses on integrating sustainability products and services for commercial success. Previously, Luke held the position of Director of Financial Services at Persefoni from July 2022 to August 2023, and spent nearly nine years at Deloitte UK in Sustainable Finance and Sustainability Consulting, providing expert guidance to Global 2000 businesses on GHG emissions and strategies for achieving Net Zero. Luke holds an MSc in Ecological Economics from The University of Edinburgh and an MA in Politics and International Relations from the University of Aberdeen.
