Dominic Barton

Dominic Barton serves as Chairman of LeapFrog Investments and Rio Tinto since 2022 and has held the position of Chancellor at the University of Waterloo from July 2018 to June 2024. Previously, Dominic Barton was the Ambassador of Canada to the People's Republic of China from 2019 to 2021. Their extensive experience at McKinsey & Company from 2000 to 2018 includes roles as Global Managing Partner, Global Managing Partner Emeritus, Asia Chairman, and Managing Partner of the Korean Office. Dominic Barton holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from The University of British Columbia and a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Oxford, where Dominic was a Rhodes Scholar.
