Ingrid Meek - Ph.D.

Ingrid Meek is a highly experienced environmental and closure consultant with extensive expertise in the mining industry. Currently serving as Project Lead for GISTM Implementation - Closure at Rio Tinto, Ingrid Meek is responsible for establishing effective project execution processes and preparing briefings for stakeholders. Previous roles include Principal Consultant for an independent consultancy, Environment Specialist and Specialist Ecosystem Reconstruction at Rio Tinto, as well as roles in environmental oversight at the Department of Economic Development and Academia. Ingrid Meek holds a PhD in Restoration Ecology from the University of New England and a Bachelor of Science from The Australian National University, along with several relevant certifications in management and environmental science.
