Jim Gordon

Jim Gordon is a highly experienced geologist with a career spanning several decades in the mining industry. Currently serving as a Senior Mine Geologist at Rio Tinto since June 2004, Jim supervises a team focused on ore body definition and geological resource data through drilling programs. Previous positions include Senior Geologist for Mine Lease Drilling and a two-year secondment to the Resource Estimation group. Prior to joining Rio Tinto, Jim held various roles at Hamersley Iron, Hancock Prospecting, and other companies, contributing to significant drilling programs and resource assessments across Australia. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Geology from the University of Sydney.
