Karthik Viswanathan

Karthik Viswanathan is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in mining and project development. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer in Mine Development at Rio Tinto since January 2022, Karthik previously held positions as a Production Engineer at GOLD FIELDS and a Project Engineer at RUC Cementation Mining Contractors Pty Ltd. Earlier roles include Internal Sales Coordinator at Ambassador Industrial and Mining Engineer at Hindustan Zinc Limited. Karthik holds a Master of Engineering Management degree from CQUniversity and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, complemented by foundational education from Kendriya Vidyalaya and Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College.
