Kris Andrews

Kris Andrews is a seasoned professional in asset management and maintenance with extensive experience in the mining industry. Currently serving as the Lead - Asset Management Digital Transformation at Rio Tinto since July 2016, Kris oversees a team focused on delivering Reliability Engineering and Asset Data for RTIO ports and mines, emphasizing technical excellence and the development of digital tools. Previous roles include various management positions at both Rio Tinto and Bengalla Mining Company, with responsibilities encompassing project management, mobile equipment maintenance, and defect elimination. Kris holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Swinburne University of Technology and an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering from TAFE NSW, complemented by a Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology.
