Lauren Milne

Lauren Milne is an experienced communications professional currently serving as a Senior Advisor in Communications at Rio Tinto since June 2022. Prior to this role, Lauren worked as a Communications Advisor in External Relations at Energy Resources of Australia Ltd from January 2019 to June 2022, and held the position of Senior Consultant at Elton Consulting from August 2017 to December 2018. Lauren's career began as a Communications Consultant at Id Planning- Community Consultation, where responsibilities included developing community engagement strategies and managing public communication efforts for various sectors. Additional experience includes producing conference events at Criterion Conferences and a foundational role as a Public Relations Intern at Cancer Council ACT. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Public Relations from the University of Canberra and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Dispute Resolution from Charles Sturt University.
