Lynn Tan

Lynn Tan is an experienced maritime professional with a robust background in project leadership and maritime safety. Currently serving as Project Lead at Rio Tinto since May 2023, Lynn initiates and reviews projects focused on enhancing marine safety and crew welfare for dry-bulk vessels. Prior roles include Professional Officer at the International Maritime Organization from March 2021 to April 2023, where Lynn facilitated initiatives for digital data exchange and supported committee meetings on regulations related to maritime safety and technology. Lynn also contributed to digitalization and autonomous technology projects at the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore from 2016 to April 2023, and gained experience as a Shipbroker at Odfjell Asia II from 2013 to 2016. Lynn holds an MBA from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
