Renan Silva

Renan Silva is a Project Geoscientist at Rio Tinto, with specialized experience in Nickel and base metals within the Canadian portfolio since June 2022. Prior roles include Exploration Geologist at Inventus Mining, focusing on Ni-Cu-PGE mineralization in the Sudbury area, and Contract Geologist positions involving Greenfield Exploration and Environmental Impact Studies. Renan's academic background includes a Master's degree in Geology from Laurentian University and multiple research projects during undergraduate studies at Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, exploring geoscientific topics such as crust transition and metallogenic potential. Renan's work encompasses field mapping, data analysis, and the study of geological processes in various regions, including Canada and Brazil.
