Senthil Thangavelu is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in various engineering roles across multiple companies, including Rio Tinto and GHD, where current responsibilities involve senior mechanical engineering tasks. Prior positions include roles at Wave International Pty Ltd, Minprovise, and Phoenix International Holdings, Inc., where Senthil contributed to significant projects such as the Royal Australian Navy’s SEA 1354-1 Program. Professional expertise encompasses structural design and analysis for offshore structures, water treatment plants, and project engineering, with a strong foundation in FEM analysis and compliance with international standards. Senthil holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and a Bachelor's Degree from Anna University Chennai.
