Sherly Zhang is a designer at RIOS. Sherly was previously a landscape designer at TINA CHEE landscape studio from September 2020 to March 2021. Sherly was also a landscape architect intern at Rainer Schmidt | landscape architects + urban planners from January 2019 to July 2019, where they acted as one of the design team core members in two large-scale competitions (Saudi Arabia and China). Sherly was also involved in CD processes of several projects within Germany. From March 2021 to November 2021, they were a junior designer at Martha Schwartz Partners. From June 2018 to December 2018, they were a landscape architecture intern at Martha Schwartz Partners, where they were involved in CD and SD processes of three ongoing projects - design sketching, digital modeling, graphic representation, report editing, etc. Sherly also assisted with contract communication with Chinese clients. From July 2020 to September 2020, they were a research assistant at Harvard University Graduate School of Design. From September 2017 to May 2020, they were a technical assistant - fabrication lab at Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
Sherly Zhang completed a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture at Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Sherly also completed a semester exchange in Landscape Architecture at The University of British Columbia. Sherly holds a Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture from The University of Hong Kong and has also completed a summer semester at University of Cambridge.
