Luis Diaz-Cesar

Luis Diaz-Cesar has a diverse work experience in the engineering and construction industry. Luis is currently serving as the VP of Engineering & Construction at Riot Platforms, Inc., where they have been working since 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as an EPC Director at the same company from 2020 to 2023. Before joining Riot Platforms, Inc., Luis was a self-employed contractor, working as an Independent Consultant from 2019 to 2020. Luis also worked as a Project Manager at CTTurbinas from 2017 to 2019. Their earlier experience includes various roles at CORPOELEC, where they served as a National Project Manager in Renewable energy from 2016 to 2017, a Renewable Energy Project Manager from 2010 to 2016, and a Power System Planner from 2005 to 2010.

Luis Diaz-Cesar holds a Master's degree in Renewable Energy from the Universidad de Zaragoza, which they completed from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they pursued a Maestría in Business Administration and Management from the Universidad Rafael Belloso Chacín, from 2008 to 2010. Luis also obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Universidad Rafael Urdaneta, where they studied from 2000 to 2004.
