Katharene Johnson

Katharene Johnson is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in people strategy and organizational development. Currently serving as the Head of People Strategy & Planning at Riot Games since July 2023, Katharene previously held various leadership positions at Activision, including Vice President of Human Resources for Call of Duty and Chief of Staff for HR in EMEA & APAC. With a background at King and Activision Blizzard, Katharene has demonstrated expertise in leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and employer branding. Katharene holds an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University.
