Leon Qiang

Leon Qiang currently serves as the Director of Global Publishing Strategy at Riot Games, a role held since January 2023. Prior to this position, Leon held multiple strategic roles at Tencent from July 2016 to January 2023, culminating in the role of Director of the Strategy Department and Head of Strategy for the Domestic Game Publishing BU. Leon's experience also includes serving as a Principal Strategy & Insights Manager at Google from January 2019 to July 2020 and previous positions at Tencent. Earlier career experience includes work in Operations Planning & Procurement at Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services and regional planning for Apple's iPhone in China. Leon holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Communications Engineering from East China Normal University.
