Patty Nishimura Dingle serves as Riot’s Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion. In her role she oversees D&I initiatives and efforts to support Riot’s 4,500+ employees across Riot’s 20 offices worldwide.

Patty has worked as a diversity and inclusion practitioner for over 19 years. Prior to joining Riot, she was the Head of DEI, Americas at BNY Mellon where she led the region’s engagement in global diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) strategy, ensuring that DEI was integrated into business and client initiatives. Patty has previously held positions at Visa and Workday where she played integral roles in shaping and driving the enhancement and implementation of corporate diversity and inclusion strategies including, recruitment, performance management, leadership development, employee engagement, and retention. 

Patty began her career in the entertainment industry as a producer for ABC 7 network television and later served as the Promotion Director for KTSF 26. A Seaside, California native, Patty holds a degree in Broadcast Communications from San Francisco State University, an MBA from Brandman University, and is a graduate of Leadership San Francisco, a trustee program for the city of San Francisco. She also currently serves on the advisory board of Self-eSTEM, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a sustainable supply of underrepresented minority women leaders who are recognized as top talent and innovation in STEM.

Geoffrey Virtue is the Sr. Director & EP of Teamfight Tactics at [Riot Games](/org/riot-games). Previously, they worked at Blizzard Entertainment as the Principal Lead Game Producer of Incubation from May 2018 to June 2021. There, they were responsible for co-project lead, Head of Production, and acting Head of Engineering (2019 - 2020) for an Unannounced AAA PC/Console title. Geoffrey also worked as the Principal Group Development Manager of Battle.net from January 2017 to May 2018 where they were responsible for the design and evolution of the department’s product development framework.

Tom Cadwell is the Chief Design Officer & EVP, R&D at [Riot Games](/org/riot-games). Prior to joining [Riot Games](/org/riot-games), Tom was a Game Designer at Blizzard Entertainment where they worked on Warcraft 3 and the Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne. Tom also co-designed the talent system for World of Warcraft. Tom has also worked as a software engineer at Lifeharbor Investments.

Jeremy Lee is a video game producer who has worked on several high-profile titles, including HoloLens, Front Mission Evolved, and Silent Hill: Homecoming. Jeremy began their career in the games industry as an AI programmer, working on projects at the University of Michigan. Jeremy then transitioned to a production role, working first at Hice Games and then at the Collective (now Amazon Game Studio). In 2010, they joined Microsoft Studios, where they worked on the HoloLens team. Jeremy left Microsoft in 2015 to join [Riot Games](/org/riot-games), where they are currently the Senior Director & EP of League of Legends.

Greg “Ghostcrawler” Street is Riot’s VP & EP, MMO. After leaving the briney world of oceanography, he joined the saltier world of games. Greg joined Riot in 2013 as lead gameplay designer for League of Legends before becoming design director, and now leads our creative division. His team worked on things like Arcane, Realms of Runeterra, K/DA, our partnership with Marvel Comics, Riot Forge, and more.

Greg got his start in gaming as a game designer at Ensemble Studios, where he worked on titles including Age of Empires: The Rise of Rome, Age of Empires II, and Age of Empires III. He then joined Blizzard Entertainment, where he was the lead systems designer on World of Warcraft for several years where he was best known for promising players a pony and nerfing Retribution Paladins “TO THE GROUND BABY.”

After receiving degrees in Biology and Philosophy from [McDaniel College](/org/mcdaniel-college), Greg went on to later receive a PhD in Marine Science from [The University of Texas at Austin](/org/the-university-of-texas-at-austin). He now uses these to ensure the products he works on are filled with crabs, shrimp, and other crustaceans.

Dylan joined [Riot Games](/org/riot-games) in 2011 as the CFO. He was then promoted to Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer in 2013 and became President in 2017.  Dylan keeps Riot running smoothly—from strategy to finance to legal.

As Chief Financial Officer of Riot Games, Mark Sottosanti oversees finance and accounting, strategic planning and forecasting, business and corporate development, analytics, research, and revenue strategies across Riot’s full portfolio of games, esports, and entertainment products.

Sottosanti joined Riot in 2012 as Director of Ecommerce and was promoted to Vice President of Revenue and Insights and then Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development. In that role, Mark led Riot’s acquisition of the Northern Ireland game studio Hypixel Studios and the expansion of its investment portfolio including Riot’s Underrepresented Founders Program, in addition to overseeing the Global Deals Council and serving as a founding member of Riot’s R&D Council. 

Prior to joining Riot, Sottosanti spent nine years at ProFlowers, where he held several executive roles. After that, he founded and was President of Grunion Capital, an equity hedge fund management company. 

Sottosanti graduated from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics and currently serves on the board of Hypixel Studios. A longtime player of League of Legends, strategy games, and the survival/battle royale genre, Mark is also a Master-level player in Teamfight Tactics.

John Needham serves as the President of Sports, overseeing League of Legends and VALORANT Champions Tour global international events and driving the overall vision for esports at Riot Games world wide. John is responsible for shaping and defining an accessible, modern sports entertainment property for a multi-generational fanbase, while creating a strong sustainable business ecosystem that attracts top-tier sponsors and investors. 
 
Under his leadership, the sport of League of Legends has experienced rapid maturation with continued investment in infrastructure and broadcast capabilities needed for long-term growth, digital products, and measurement standards (e.g. AMA). LoL Esports’ three major international events -- The World Championship, Mid-Season Invitational, and All-Star Event -- have hit record viewership and seen incredible growth in fan engagement and value, with some of the most recognizable global brands signing partnerships including Verizon, Mercedes-Benz, Louis Vuitton, Spotify, OPPO, Red Bull, and Unilever’s AXE.
 
Needham joined Riot in 2017 as the Managing Director of Europe and North America. During his time in that position, he led the rebranding of the League of Legends European Championship (LEC), which included the move to a long-term partnership model with 10 teams and an influx of new partnerships including Kia, Logitech, Red Bull, and Foot Locker.  
 
John is an accomplished senior-level executive with a demonstrated history of results. He has developed high-performing teams, departments, and studios through his ability to communicate, motivate, and align teams from across different regions and cultures. 
 
Prior to Riot, John served as Partner, Microsoft where he worked on Hololens experiences, 3DCreation, Microsoft Casual Games, and Age of Empires. He previously served as Microsoft's Studio Head of Lionhead where he transitioned Lionhead from a traditional console developer to a games-as-a-service studio. In that role, he also launched Fable Anniversary, Warface, and Quantum Break. John also held leadership positions at Cryptic Studios, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Telemundo, Gazillion Entertainment, and Sony Online Entertainment.

Ryan Crosby joined as Head of Marketing and Consumer Products in February of 2021. Crosby, a 20-year industry vet, has worked in advertising and marketing at Activision, Hulu, Microsoft and Netflix, most recently as VP of content marketing at Hulu across the company’s brand, original and licensed content, Live TV, consumer insights and internal creative studio. He was previously Netflix’ director of global creative marketing.

Marc Merrill is the Co-Founder, Co-Chairman, and former Co-CEO of [Riot Games](/org/riot-games), the game developer and publisher behind League of Legends. Marc co-founded Riot—along with Brandon Beck—in 2006 with the vision and commitment to drastically change the way video games are developed, delivered, and supported for players. Since then, he’s helped League of Legends become the most-played online game in the world and the world's largest esport with over 100m monthly active players. Riot continues to uphold their "player first" vision by devoting the entire company's activity around prioritizing the player experience, and has been acclaimed for its focus on balanced game design, community engagement, and pioneering work in establishing games as a service.

Nicolo Laurent is the CEO of [Riot Games](/org/riot-games). Nicolo has also worked for GOA Games Services and has experience in business development, strategic consulting, and production. Nicolo has a strong background in online games and has negotiated deals with developers all over the world. Nicolo has also lived and worked in Paris, Seoul, and Dublin.
