Brandie Derusha

Brandie DeRusha is an English Teacher at Loudoun County Public Schools since August 2022, dedicated to educating future leaders. As a Contributing Writer for Book Riot since August 2018, Brandie generates various articles catering to book enthusiasts, including personal pieces, book lists, recommendations, and news. Additionally, Brandie has been a Freelance Writer and Editor since January 2016 and previously worked as a Shop Clerk at Hooked Fine Yarn Boutique from August 2014 to December 2015, assisting knitters and yarn enthusiasts. Brandie holds a Master's Degree in English Language and Literature from Rutgers University - Camden (2014-2015) and a Bachelor's Degree in the same field from the same institution (2011-2014).
