Ruth Lande is the Vice President of Hospital Relations at RIP Medical Debt. Ruth has over 28 years of experience in the healthcare industry, most recently as the Vice President of Revenue Cycle at Rochester Regional Health. In this role, they were responsible for revenue cycle management and reporting for 5 hospitals, 2000+ physicians, home and community based care, nursing homes, and behavioral health.

Prior to their role at Rochester Regional Health, Ruth Lande was the Senior Vice President of Patient Revenues at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of the revenue cycle for both hospital and professional billing (1100+ academic physicians and 800K annual outpatient visits), including patient access, billing operations, revenue integrity and IT application support and analytics. Ms. Lande successfully selected and implemented a new hospital revenue and registration system that resulted in improved workflow, efficiency, patient experience and analytics. The highly complex project involved 100+ interfaces to clinical systems and resulted in improved continuity of care. Additionally, they created a centralized patient billing support center that enabled high quality one-stop service for hospital and professional bills.

Ruth Lande has a long history of success in the healthcare industry. Ruth is a respected leader with a proven track record of streamlining processes and improving efficiencies. Her experience will be invaluable as they take on their new role at RIP Medical Debt.

Ruth Lande has a Masters in International Affairs from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a B.A. in Psychology from Swarthmore College.
