Mateo Clariá

Mateo Clariá has held various roles in the procurement and accounting fields since 2009. Mateo began their career as an Accounting Analyst at IBM in 2009, where they were responsible for accounts from Canada and analysis of cost, inventory and fixed assets accounts. In 2011, they moved to Nestle as a Procurement Business Partner, where they reported on short, medium and long-term pricing trends for relevant categories, as well as provided information on the general market situation and future scenarios. Mateo also participated in new product launches from the start, identifying inputs to be negotiated and providing support for innovation and process renewal. In 2016, they joined Grupo Peñaflor as Gerente de Compras de Materiales Directos & Importaciones, and later became Jefe de Compras de Insumos & Packaging, responsible for the supply of inputs and packaging for all Group operations. Mateo was also responsible for coordinating supply strategies for all categories of raw materials and packaging, keeping them aligned with the objectives of the business and negotiating medium and long-term commercial agreements with suppliers. In 2022, they joined Rip Van as a Procurement Manager.

Mateo Clariá attended IAE Business School from 2018 to 2018, where they obtained a PDD in Programa de Desarrollo Directivo. Mateo also attended UADE from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Licenciado en Administración de Empresas.
