Hisham Ibrahim

Hisham Ibrahim is currently the Chief Community Officer at RIPE NCC since May 2014. Prior to this role, Hisham worked as the External Relations Manager, Community Development, and External Relations, Middle East Regional Manager/ Technical Advisor. In their previous role at AFRINIC, Hisham served as the IPv6 Program Manager. Hisham also has experience as an Acting Chief Communications Officer at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Egypt. With a background in Electronics & Communications Engineering and an MBA in Marketing, Hisham has a strong focus on community engagement, internet governance, and promoting stability and security in the online space.
