Ed L.

Ed L. is currently the SVP at Ripple Foods. Prior to joining Ripple Foods, Ed was the Accounting Manager at Guidebook Inc from October 2016 to March 2018. In this role, Ed was responsible for the monthly close process, reviewed staff work, prepared financial statements for management, and instilled best practices. Ed was also a key player in system migration to NetSuite and collaborated with the Guidebook engineering team on internally created systems and ad hoc projects. In addition, Ed liaised with foreign subsidiary accounting teams and prepared consolidated financial statements for US parent company. During their time at Guidebook, Ed developed staff and instituted best practices in the accounting department.

Before joining Guidebook, Ed was the Accounting and Finance Manager at Coyuchi from June 2013 to September 2016. In this role, they managed all aspects of accounting and finance including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, payroll, month-end close, and financial reporting. Ed also oversaw the budgeting process and acted as a business partner to other departments within the company.

Ed began their career as a Senior Accountant at Burr Pilger Mayer from November 2010 to June 2013. In this role, they worked with clients in the technology, retail, manufacturing, and life sciences industries. Ed provided clients with tax compliance services and assisted them with tax planning strategies.

Ed L. has an Executive MBA from Saint Mary's College of California and a BA in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara.

They are on a team with Adam Lowry - Director & Chief Sustainability Officer, Becky McAninch Graham - Head of Marketing, and Spencer Bartlet - Managing Director. Their manager is Laura Flanagan, CEO.
