Jerry Gong, Ph.D., P.E.

Jerry Gong, Ph.D., P.E. has a diverse work experience in the field of structural engineering. Jerry started their career as a Jr. Structural Engineer at RGD Consulting Engineers, where they worked on various projects such as clubhouses, hotels, retail centers, office buildings, and marinas. Jerry Gong, Ph.D., P.E., obtained their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Dalian University of Technology, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Jerry then pursued a Master of Science in Structural Engineering at Iowa State University from 2015 to 2017. Jerry continued their academic journey at Iowa State University and received a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Structural Engineering, specialized in Intelligent Structure and Transportation, from 2015 to 2019.

In terms of certifications, Jerry earned their Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying in January 2019. Later, they became a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) by the Nebraska Board of Engineers and Architects in September 2021 and by the State of Iowa Engineering and Land Surveying Examining Board in November 2021.
