Stefano Stabellini

Co-chair Of The Risc-v Hypervisors SIG at RISC - V (Risk Five)

Stefano Stabellini is an accomplished technologist with extensive experience in virtualization technologies and open source software. Currently serving as a Fellow at AMD since April 2018, Stefano leads the virtualization and containers team while developing cutting-edge architectures for the PetaLinux tools. As a Linux Kernel Maintainer for the Xen subsystem and a prominent contributor to the Xen on ARM project since 2011, Stefano has been instrumental in advancing hypervisor capabilities. Additionally, Stefano co-chairs the RISC-V Hypervisors Special Interests Group and advises startups on virtualization solutions. With a solid foundation built through various engineering roles at Citrix, Aporeto, and research contributions at the Institute for Human & Machine Cognition, Stefano holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Università degli Studi di Ferrara.
