Kajette Solomon is a Social Equity & Inclusion Specialist at RISD Museum since August 2016, where responsibilities include coordinating anti-racist pedagogy programs and advancing social equity initiatives. Previously, Kajette served as the Education Program Coordinator and Education Assistant at the same institution, focusing on educational program operations. Experience also includes a volunteer role at Gallery Z, Inc., facilitating press and media exposure, and an Account Manager position at Bridgeman Images, where revenue generation and copyright clearance were key responsibilities. Earlier roles include Press and Archives Coordinator at The Project and curatorial internships at Neuberger Museum of Art, David Zwirner, and The Studio Museum in Harlem. Kajette holds an M.A. in Modern & Contemporary Art History from Purchase College, SUNY, and a B.A. in Art History from Arcadia University.
