Jolynn Berk, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries.
Jolynn began their career at Sullivan Higdon & Sink in 1997, where they served as an Account Executive and Interactive Project Manager. Jolynn worked closely with clients and creative teams to develop marketing communications plans and advertising campaigns.
In 2005, Jolynn joined Jajo Inc. as an Account Service Director. Jolynn was responsible for strategic development and planning, paid and digital media, and public relations. Jolynn also played a key role in business development and new client cultivation.
Since 2012, Jolynn has been with Rise Against Hunger, initially as the Director of Foundation Relations and later as the Director of Channel Development. In these roles, they focused on community and foundation relations, marketing, and developing go-to-market strategies. Jolynn also led the marketing team and oversaw various functional areas such as branding, communications, and digital engagement.
In their most recent position at Rise Against Hunger, Jolynn served as the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer. Jolynn was responsible for driving contributed revenue and growth through business development, donor fundraising, and brand awareness.
Jolynn Berk holds an MBA in Business Administration from Friends University, which they completed from 2012 to 2014. Jolynn also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the same institution, which they obtained in 1992 after studying from 1991 to 1992.
