Travis Huckaba

Travis Huckaba has a diverse range of work experience. Travis is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Rise Against Hunger since January 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the Director of Finance from February 2021 to January 2022, Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis from July 2020 to February 2021, and Budget Manager from March 2017 to June 2020. Travis started their career at Rise Against Hunger as a Revenue Accountant in February 2014, where they focused on optimizing processes and applying GAAP to improve and automate the organization's revenue cycle. Before joining Rise Against Hunger, Travis worked as an Accounting Assistant at the company from March 2013 to February 2014. Prior to their time at Rise Against Hunger, Travis gained experience in the culinary industry. Travis worked as a Sous Chef at Compass Group/Bon Appetit at Cisco from March 2010 to November 2012, handling cash handling, cost controls, menu planning, and creating menus. Before that, they worked as a Chef at The Wine Shop at Foxcroft from September 2008 to March 2010, where they managed back-of-house operations, ordered inventory, and executed daily dinner menus. Travis also has experience as a Bartender at Jefferson Landing Country Club from May 2007 to August 2008 and as a Wine Associate at Total Wine from September 2007 to June 2008.

Travis Huckaba has an extensive education history. Travis obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting and Business/Management from the University of Phoenix from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Foodservice Systems Administration/Management, as well as a B.S. degree in Food Service Management and an A.S. degree in Culinary Arts, all from Johnson & Wales University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010.

In addition to their academic degrees, Travis Huckaba has also obtained several certifications. In 2016, they became a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the IMA | Institute of Management Accountants. Subsequently, in 2018, they acquired the Certified in Strategy and Competitive Analysis (CSCA) certification from the same institution.
